Thanksgiving Prayer

It’s the day after thanksgiving and my entire body and being is grateful.

I’ve been mulling about the beauty of my life and all its richness, vibrancy, joy, happiness and aliveness.

This began with one flicker of light – the thread that began when I found magic playing amongst the roses as a young 6 year old.

I wish I could describe to you the magic I discovered in my back yard. It was a secret pathway way to paradise.

Everyday I was seen, acknowledged, blessed, anointed with the kindest energies that showed me the magic of my being.

That was the moment when I discovered that I was born with capacities to create my reality.

Even if others were creating a reality filled with atrocities – I still had mine. My reality to fashion as I pleased.

I feel the magic alive in this moment. I am grateful to taste it, play with it and dance with it. The days of my youth are back.

The moments where I change everything around me with a magic wand. And everyone is desiring some of this magic.

Wondering how they can fashion their own story, their own beauty and stillness. I ponder about the next moment, how RICH it is already in abundance.

I am blessed to be in overflowing by the river that consistently blesses me with more.

I have noticed how different I am. How weird I am. This is what allows the magic to fully find you...being as different and weird as you are.

I love how I stand in my truth and fully trust what I know.

It’s the day after thanksgiving and my prayer is to continue allowing the magic to show up in my life – to be as wildly different as I am and to let go of all judgement.

First blog post! I love it! I’m in love with the gift of living. Grace Covington
