3 Possibilities You May Be Missing

Have you faced a challenge or problem this week? Chances are, you're nodding or raising your hand, even if only in spirit.

But what if I told you that within every problem lies hidden opportunities?

It's all about shifting perspectives and not missing the possibilities that problems provide.

Here’s how:

View Problems as Opportunities:

The first step is a mental game that requires commitment. Viewing problems as opportunities requires a significant mindset shift.

Let's face it, some problems feel so big and heavy, leaving us questioning where the opportunity even lies.

However, the magic begins once you embrace the practice of looking for the opportunity.

Gradually, with this consistent practice, you'll notice a change in how you perceive the problems that show up in your life. They won't throw you off track as easily, nor will you feel the constant dread of waiting for the other shoe to drop during tough times.

Opportunities are uncovered by asking questions:

Get curious when you have problems.

Getting curious starts to dissipate the energy of a problem that may be creating knots in your stomach or keeping you up

at night.

Simply asking a question like, What's the possibility here that I'm not aware of?

When I ask this question…

Instantly my body stops reacting and starts to relax, my heart starts to open and a sense of calmness replaces panic.

It's as if God has extended an invitation to explore a new path, one where solutions emerge without the pressure of constant problem-solving. A new possibility is invited into the mix, with the presence of God reassuringly saying, "Be still and know that I am God."

Finding Opportunities in the Pause:

What happens after you ask a question?

You Pause. Within this moment of stillness and presence, awareness flows freely.

This deliberate pause allows for an openness to receive guidance, perhaps through journaling or reflection, transforming problems into opportunities.

It's like having an additional toolkit for support when problems show up!

Consider the common dread of losing passion for your job, when every fiber in your being signals it's time for a change.

I've lived through waking up filled with dread, suffering from unexplainable body aches, enduring random illnesses while sitting at my computer, and experiencing the bizarre phenomenon of being locked out of my computer despite knowing my passwords by heart. I understand this feeling well. Perhaps this challenge, which you may also be experiencing, is now inviting you to explore new possibilities.
